Online the schools say that they offer pre-pharmacy, but when I go to apply and look under the courses they don’t have pre-pharmacy listed, they have “pharmacy technician- cert completion” is this the same course as pre-pharmacy, and will it allow you to transfer into the PharmD program?

Don’t waste your time or money on going to school to be a Pharmacy Tech. My mom is a pharmacist and says that most pharm techs make almost min wage even with the certification. Pharm Interns make about 15-20 dollars an hour. Thats alot more than pharm techs. If you want to be a pharmacist go to a good pharmacy school and good luck! I know she worked her tush off for 5 years and raised my brother and I with no support.
No they are not the same, if you want to go to a Pharm D program you need to go pre-pharmacy, if you want to be a pharmacy tech than you go pharmacy tech
Pharm tech courses will not count as pre-pharm pre-reqs. Go onto a pharmacy college website, and see what they require.
