This Question From Pharmacy Technician Schools in Oregon | 2 Answers

QUESTION:

I would like to attend a pharmacy school in CA (a private pharmacy school). Do I have to have a bachelor’s of arts degree, or can I get an associates degree. If I apply to Oregon State will it be less competitive, will I get in.

Oregon State is one of the schools which requires the bachelors, if I recall correctly. In CA, the schools are so competitive, you need a bachelors just to have a chance of admittance.
Some schools require a bachelors, some don’t, and some have it as a de-facto requirement.

The pharmacy schools I know of only require you to have met the prerequisites before being admitted, no degree needed. The requirements may change from school to school though, you’d need to check.
