If you are one in a hospital you may need more formal training. I am a pharmacy technician student. I go to a technical school and one has to be 18 to be in the program. It is the law to work with meds. One also needs a high school diploma to participate. One option is to work in a pharmacy as a customer service aide. That way you can be in that working environment and you can "get your feet wet". Also, you can meet people that you can network with in when you get your pharm. tech. diploma. It could hep you find a job. It won't hurt. I hope I have been of some help to you. I wish you well.
