]]> I live in arizona and I was wondering how hard it is to get a pharmacy tech license? I’m in school to be an elementary teacher but in the mean time, I’m trying to become a pharmacy tech. How hard are the classes? How long does it take? Will it be worth it? Is it something that I’d have to stop my schooling for to do? How much would it cost? Where would I go to receive it?

Some areas, such as Phoenix and Tucson, pay better than the others.
Your pay will also depend on the experience and qualifications you have-that is, your certification.
For Phoenix at entry level, you can look at earning about $25,000 up.
For Albuquerque, for comparison, the entry level salary is $23,000 up.

]]> I am getting my Bachelors of Science in Biology (pre-pharmacy) I am currently taking a lot of biomedical sciences Am I heading towards the right direction? I am graduating in 2010 and apply for spring 2010 to pharmacy school but i dont know what school to apply to i live in arizona and both schools are competitive. Should i concider out of state? MWU is a competive school i feel like i will never be accepted they rejected a couple of my friends a couple of times and i am nervous about it. For plan B I want to also apply for PA school.
Can anyone please help. any suggestions about any pharmacy schools.
MY GPA IS A 3.0 I AM STILL STUDYING TO TAKE PCAT BUT I AM NOT EXACTLY THE BEST TEST TAKER.

]]> I want to be a Pharmacist. I live in Texas. I want to go to the University of Arizona for Pharmacy.
Option 1 – Go to a school in Texas and finish the prerequisite coursework to apply for the University of Arizona school of Pharmacy.
Option 2 – Go to the University of Arizona as a freshman and do the prerequisite coursework there and then apply for the school of pharmacy.
Which option is better?

look at the link it says Non-Residents 13 (13%) made it and of those people who made it 63 completed the prerequisite coursework at the University of Arizona

]]> I am debating between several careers. I would really love to be a pharmacist and I am looking into schools. It appears there are 2 schools in my state (arizona).
I am just curious, so if I spend the next 3 years working on pre-pharmacy courses and then I apply for pharmacy school. If I don’t get in, what do I do? It seems like there are so many applicants and very few get into school. I know I can keep re-applying, but it seems like a longshot if I didn’t get in the first time.
Would I of just wasted 3 years of schooling? What do people go on to do if they don’t get into pharmacy school?
