i got a 1930 out of 2400 SAT score, but planning to retake
i have a 3.92 unweighted, and a 4.7 weighted GPA
i got a 800 on SAT2 Math2 and a 800 on SAT2 Chem
over 300 volunteer hours, internship at National Institute of Health
took part in 4 science competition in Maryland
i knw i am a out of state student and i really want to go in Pharmacy (preferred admission)…can u tell me my chances?

]]> I’m only 14, but I’m really interested in medicine, and know that I’m going into the medical field when I’m older. I’ve always wanted to move to Maryland, so I was searching universities in Maryland. I came across Johns Hopkins. I found a link to their medical programs (graduate), but I was wonder what the difference between all of these was……………….

-Junior in high school
-rank is 35 out of 110
-last year only took one honors class
-take 2 ap classes and 1 advanced class this year
-my school only tells weighted gpa, mine is 3.4
-did community service hours at a local hospital
-extracurricular activities: math club, spanish club, and future teachers
-I took my PSAT and got a 160
-Haven’t yet taken the SAT or any Subject Tests (plan to take atleast 3)
-will be working at a pharmacy come spring time when I get my license
-also am going to Cornell University for High School Summer Program
What are my chances for Temple University, Penn State, University of Maryland, Rutgers New Brunswick, St.Johns, Villanova, or Georgetown!!!?????

New York University- $41941 ($12500 scholarship)
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy- $19950 ($12000 scholarship)
UCLA- $45314 ($2000 scholarship)
University of Maryland- College Park- $21501
I plan to go to graduate school, so money matters.
Please tell me where YOU believe the best school for me is and why.
Each school has it’s ups and downs.
Although BU is amazing, my parents do not think it is not academically presiprestigiousgh.
Smith is a great school, but it is all-women.
NYU is a good choice, but the campus isn’t very closed and it is expensive even with the scholarship.
Although MCPHS consists of one building and we have to wear ID badges, I could get a Doctor of Pharmacy degree within 6 years.
UCLA may be a good choice, because we plan to move to CA in two years makngmaking20000 cheaper, but I would have paid 100000 by then. Plus, their grad schools are great.
UMCP is fine… but I grew up not wanting to go there. I want to get out of MD.

]]> my wife is army reserve and i’m active duty we are new to this and we have two kids, I know there is a chance i get deployed my wife enrolled at the university of Maryland to start her school of pharmacy shes a e-4 and she also enrolled in the rotc program can anybody give me aspects on how things play out with both parents being military and your kids being involved?

]]> I’m going to the University of Maryland (UMDCP) this upcoming weekend and I wanted to know what I should look for when I go there. Any sights on the campus that or worth seeing. I wanted to go for either pharmacy or physical therapy…and to watch lacrosse games. What about other Pharmacy Schools that you know of … how are they? Etc.?
I know Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has a 0-6 Pharmacy Program but they rest are just the Professional 4 years … am I correct?
Any other information would be nice and would help if you have it … please tell? Etc.?
