Chances Of Getting Into Pharmacy School?

This Question From Pharmacy Technician Schools in California | 1 Answer

QUESTION:

I am currently a freshman in a junior college in California. I am currently working on transferring to a CSU/UC after my two years to get a bachelors in Biology or Chemistry. In these four years i am also going to be completing the prerequisites for Pharmacy school or Pre-Pharm. Where would i have to at least keep my GPA to have an almost sure chance to get into one of the Pharamacy schools in California?

It all really depends on which pharmacy school you go to. Some pharmacy schools will require you to maintain a 3.5 GPA, where others might only require a minimum of 2.8 GPA. Usually, the more prestigious the school is, the higher your GPA needs to be. If you want a sure shot to getting into pharmacy school, I recommend keeping your GPA higher than a 3.5. Right now, I am studying Chemistry in Oregon and I am also planning on going to pharmacy school. http://www.aacp.org/issi/membership/scho…
