Time has come to choose a college and I am so confused. I want to major in Biology- Pre- Pharmacy. Should my undergraduate school be the same school that I do my graduate school. Or should I do pre-pharmacy at one and then move on to another school to do the pharmD program. Also does anyone know of any good pharmacy schools in or near Louisiana because it seems as though my choices are few. I appreciate any information you can give because deadlines are coming up.

It is usually easier to be admitted to a graduate school of any sort which if different from your undergraduate school. Graduate school admissions officers seem to feel that this results in more “well-rounded” students.
However, if your state university’s best undergraduate campus also happens to be the location of the pharmacy school, it is certainly OK to go there for undergrad, as the grad schools want students with the best undergraduate education possible and will not hold it against you that you went to best undergraduate campus of your own state university.
