]]> I live in arizona and I was wondering how hard it is to get a pharmacy tech license? I’m in school to be an elementary teacher but in the mean time, I’m trying to become a pharmacy tech. How hard are the classes? How long does it take? Will it be worth it? Is it something that I’d have to stop my schooling for to do? How much would it cost? Where would I go to receive it?

Online the schools say that they offer pre-pharmacy, but when I go to apply and look under the courses they don’t have pre-pharmacy listed, they have “pharmacy technician- cert completion” is this the same course as pre-pharmacy, and will it allow you to transfer into the PharmD program?

]]> I have a full-time job that I work from 8:00a.m -4:00p.m from Monday – Friday. and I want to attend school to become a Pharmacy Technician, but the Pharmacy Technicaian program is from 5:30p.m. to 10:30p.m Monday-Thursday. I don’t see how i will have anytime to do my school work if I’m working and attending school full-time. Every other school near where I live only offers this Pharmacy Technican program in the day time when I have to be at work. This is the only school that offers the this program in the evenings and because the economy is so bad in Michigan I can’t afford to quit my job and get a part-time job without having another job to fall back on. What would you do if you were me? Also do you think it is a good idea to pay $8000 for a Pharmacy Technician program?
