It sounds like Northeastern has just about no pros (at least as far as you're concerned) and many cons, whereas UW-Madison has lots of pros. It's too late to transfer for the start of the year, but you can transfer after another semester. I would say, if UW-Madison has equivalent or better classes, go there! That business about not being able to declare your major is very troublesome as well; that's a very specific major, and if you're not declared, there are many Pharm classes you'll be denied entry to. As a side note, about the professors, did you know that you can see how other students have rated them at MySpace? Just click on "More", and then "Schools," and find yours.
