This Question Is From: Pharmacy Technician Work and has 1 Answer
I’m looking for a good book to study from for the PTCB exam. If anyone has ever used this book before, would you please let me know whether it was helpful and whether you recommend me buying it? Thanks.

I haven’t looked at the book you mentioned, however, in internet lingo the word “Secret” usually means BS / rip off. I studied for and passed the PTCB last year. (with no experience at all in a pharmacy)I would recommend an actual self study book for preparing. There are no secrets, well, I take that back, there are a couple. The first one is that since the test is multiple choice you already have a 25% advantage. Then there’s the point that you are allowed to get some wrong and can sometimes spot the answers that are obviously not right and all of that puts you half way to passing. Besides that, there is no proprietary information in those books. I offer my site to you to use for free to study. If you want a recommendation on a study guide let me know.
