You’re mistaken about Columbia. They don’t have a pharmacy school. Dept of pharmacology is part of the med school at columbia.
As for rating, there’s no need to rate pharmacy schools. All of them are competitive and in the end, no patient cares what school you came from, all they care is that you’re a licensed pharmacist.
In my opinion, I’d try to go for the state schools that you’re native to. Pharmacy school isn’t cheap. A state school can help save you money.

I second the good doctor — look into schools in your state.
Make sure they have a strong residency program and ask about their job placement rates for graduates. Not like you’d have a problem getting a job as a pharmacist, but some schools really go the extra mile to connect students with top employers. (At UT, we’re really proud of our 100 percent placement rates for Pharm D. grads for years going).
Also, do you want a Pharm.D. (doctor of pharmacy degree) or a bachelor’s in pharmaceutical sciences? The latter can be a good option if you want to go into sales, management or additional areas of the practice.
Best of luck to you!
