Help Please!!! What Would You Do If You Were Me? (pharmacy)?

This Question Is From: Pharmacy Technician Schools in Missouri and has 2 Answers

1. After high school would you go to pharmacy school(the school takes students directly from high school). The school does not require an interview or PCAT and I don’t have to worry about getting into a pharmacy school later, which is very competitive where I live. However, the school is in Missouri and i ive in southern california. I don’t want to leave my family! (would take 6 years)
Or
2. Go to a school near my home, get a bachelor’s degree then transfer to pharmacy school, which would require an interview. The shortest amount of time to complete everything would be 7 years, but admission to pharm. school is not guarenteed. However, I would be with my family.

i would definitely suggest the second option. being with your family will make things easier and it’s only a one year difference. just get your bachelors in pre pharamacy and then it really won’t be too hard to get into pharamacy school as long as you get decent grades in all of your pre-pharamacy classes. Good luck…hope this helps.

I would definitely choose the second choice.
Not only would you be with your family, but who knows if you will change your mind in the next couple years of what you want to do! (I know I did!)
By going to a university you would be keeping you options open!
    Good Luck!
