I wanted to know how many years it takes to become a pharmacist.Do you have to take a lot of math classes, or is it more science? Also which schools in California are pharmacy schools? Southern california school. what gpa is required to get accepted into pharmacy school?

    about 3 to 4 years undergrad to fulfill ur prereqs and 3 to 4 years of pharmacy school depending on the program. It is pretty much all science classes…..prereqs usually include, chem, bio, organic chem, microbiology, physio…..and a few basic math classes. In california rite now there is UOP, USC, UCSD, western, loma linda, and UCSF. Two new schools touro and one in sacramento are not yet accredited but have been opened. The higher the gpa the better, but if u want to stay in california it shoudl be above a 3.6.

    To be competitive in CA, you’ll need a bachelors. So, it will take about 8 years to complete. There are more science courses.
