I’m 18 and I’m going on an interview at CVS to be a Pharmacy Technician. I have no experience, but I am a Pre-Pharmacy student. How much should I ask for, salary-wise? What hourly wage can I expect?
I live in NY by the way.

I live in VT. Our minimum wage is $8.06. I make $8.65 and I just started last week, although I was a cashier in the retail end of the store for a while.
So I’d say, add 50 cents to your state’s minimum wage.
I’m a tech at Safeway and they started me at 9.20, and I had no experience. Once I got certified, they gave me a raise to 12.90. I don’t know that CVS pays as well though. Good luck!
Since NY does not have any requirements to work as a pharm tech, it is going to be at the low end of the scale. My guess it’ll be about $8-$9 per hour.
Expect $8.50/hr.-$9.00/hr.
