I am currently a pharmacy technician, but my 17-year-old nephew is interested in studying and getting certified. How old do you have to be to take the test?

    Hello there! Most state exams require that the minimum age be 18yrs to take any state certification exam. He may be able to begin the classes now. If they do let him do that,a and he will be 18 by the exam date he would be ahead of the game. Something to look into at least :) . I hope that this has helped you and good luck to your nephew.
