Try to see if you can find a job in a pharmacy even if they pay you low. That a very demanding job, in that way you are practicing and learning. You can also try to study medical assistant in line which is a very good combination and is fun. I took one for six month. Also I would suggest to ask the school if you can continue studyng since is a long time and you may forget. Keep all the book handy and try to learn as much as you can about pharmacy. I would like to know why it will take so long to give you the certificate.? I would suggestt to get in touch with them (school.) If you need to take other certification the school should be able to answer that. But if you can keep studyng the more chances you have to get a job. I live in California and I don't know what the law in TN. But I know here anything that have to do with medical are job that are in demanding. Let me know what happen.
