If I’m In High School Can I Still Train To Be A Pharmacy Technician?

If I’m In High School Can I Still Train To Be A Pharmacy Technician?

This Question Is From: Online Pharmacy Technician Schools and has 1 Answer

I finished my junior year with all but one credit needed to graduate, and I do my high schooling online. I only need one english credit in order to qualify for graduation, and I was wondering if I could do one of those pharmacy technician programs while completing my high school degree? Like those online college programs that just train you how to do your job for like a year and then help you find a job in that field. Would I have to wait until I completed that teeny-weeny little ONE credit to be able to enroll in those programs? Or can I just do it all at the same time whenever the school year starts?
I realize that you have to be 18 to be certified as a pharmacy technician, but I’ll be 18 in 10 months, so I figured I wouldn’t finish the program till then anyways.
Anybody know anything about these kinda things?

The requirement for pharmacy technician schools is that you have a high school diploma which you do not have. In the meantime take a program in your school that involves math, chemistry and biology./
