She is currently a pharmacy tech and I think all she needed to do was pass the test. I could be wrong, but I think that's what she told me. Good luck! You have to apply for the Illinois pharm tech license. For the first two years, certification is not required. PTCB only requires a high school diploma or GED to take the exam.
