Interested In Going Into The Navy And Working With The Marines.?

Okay…hang with me…this is pretty lengthy…
I was a Pre-Pharmacy student who completed my coursework but switched to Pre-Nursing since I only had a 3.0. I have taken a lot of science courses to get this far and other than taking Microbiology, I am ready for nursing school. I made the mistake of only applying to one school last year and didn’t get in. I have applied at more schools this year (I live in Georgia, hubby is in the process of going back Active Army) and I am hopefully getting in.
I want to go into the Navy Nurse Commissioning Program. I have turned in my application and all documents and they have received my recommendation letters. All I need is my acceptance letter to Nursing school. My goal is to get my 4 year degree, commission as an officer into the Navy Nurse Corps, and hopefully to be assigned to Marine Corps unit.
Here is my question:
If I do NOT get into nursing school this Fall…and I will know in the next month if I got in or not…what should I do next? I am turning 25 next week and I feel that if I need to change course again, I want to make sure I chose a course that will reach my goals.

You do know that if your husband is active Army and you are Active Navy you will likely spend most of your careers apart, right?
Why not be an Army nurse, then you can file to be stationed together. WAY better chance of that happening.
