All you have to do is go to the PTCB.ORG website, register for the exam, and take it.
I went to one of those overpriced trade schools and it wasn’t until the end did I find out all I had to do was take an exam by the PTCB. It’s call the PTCE. Forget the whole school thing,
Just register for the exam, buy a book called Mosby’s PTCE review from Barnes and Nobles and pass the test. Then once you pass register with the state. That’s it.
After that volunteer at a local pharmacy and you’re done!

It takes about 9 months ,but job market isn’t easy.
I don’t know about Houston Texas.
Its very competitive. You have to have a high GPA, excellent grades in Chemistry (and everything else) and high MCAT / PCAT scores.
