That was one of the stipulations the Army had, that we step in when our Daughter went back to the reserves and when she left during the Iraq war we had the Kids for 1 1/2 Years.Your Wife is stateside so why can't she take care of the Kids and go to School. Unless, some type of major emergency comes up. My husbands friend and his wife are both Marines. They just had a baby and once her three month maternity leave is up .. Im going to watch the baby untill one gets off work. I wouldnt say its bad but at the same time.. not exactly a stable environment. If one parent gets deployed, the other will not.
