LEARN HOW TO BECOME A PHARMACY TECHNICIAN WITH THE ADVICE OF REAL PEOPLE
This Question From Pharmacy Technician Schools in Pennsylvania | 2 Answers
I will be working on ACT work as much as I can to prepare for the test and make an attempt at a high score; will take the actual SAT perhaps late January
A little something about me…
-Junior in HS
-Key Club Officer
-Co Captain of tennis team
-Played ice hockey on HS team (2 years)
-Won two consecutive “Most Improved Awards”
-Future Business Leaders of America member
-ex Member of Technical Crew of my HS
-Lives in Pennsylvania
-of Korean descent
-”First generation college student” (parents immigrants from Korea)
-Uncle/aunt of immediate family went to Penn; uncle also went to Univ. of Chicago (works for Johnson and Johnson as advertising medicine)
-Freshmen year wasn’t so great… low GPA because of “slacking off”
-Sophomore year- only 1 honors class (English) and rest academic; also took Math Lab because did not meet state requirements on PSAT, but I’m not sure exactly why (I’m good with numbers; possibly because of not working hard in past ~2yrs of middle school); also maintained 4.0 GPA first three marking periods and 3.8 in 4th MP unweighted
-Junior year (current)-3.8 GPA with honors chem and AP euro as weighted classes during first MP, not doing so well right now in terms that 2nd MP has just began, but C in chemistry and low B in AP Euro; also have to take Math lab once again but I’m totally fine with everything being reviewed
-Interested in a business field, biology, not sure about chemistry anymore because of my current chem. teacher and stuff being learnt (formulas/equations)
-Diagnosed with ADD (attention deficit disorder)
-Born in US; knows how to speak the English language in fluent manner, taken Spanish since 8th grade, not so strong in own language of Korean
-May take duel enrollment classes next year as senior (which are after school and meet once a week; options are mandarin chinese or philosophy for me– these gives college credits in state of PA and HS credit)
-Interested in something like what my uncle does, which is working as an advertiser for Johnson and Johnson, Inc. or business oriented; maybe Pharmacy
-Seeking 6 figure income or close
-Dream school suggested by aunt as University of Chicago, but that is a difficult school to get in from my standpoint; I can work at it
-Weak PSAT in 10th grade with score of 128 (was not taken very seriously as I should have)
-Taken Princeton Review course during summer of 08′ (highest score being about 510 in math, mid 400 in reading, and 560 in writing– I know I can do much better and hit 600s)
-Hard-working parents and are somewhat middle class citizens; although all is made from hard work towards income and not by endowment, etc (nice school, nice neighborhood, etc)
-Interested in colleges like Penn State main, Pitt, Univ. of Chicago, UPenn (but my chances are very low), Boston College, Boston Univ., George Mason Univ. (close to DC for intern, but heard it is like a community school), James Madison Univ —-I have more on list but listed some

Your SATs are abysmal. Suggest looking into SAT optional colleges like Holy Cross and Providence which are great schools.
