Out-of-state College Opinions?

Out-of-state College Opinions?

This Question Is From: Pharmacy Technician Schools in Wisconsin and has 3 Answers

Right now, i’m currently a junior and are attending a high school in Wisconsin. My one goal that i really want to achieve is to go to school out of state (just to get away from everything). I know it’s not the smartest idea financially, but its one i need to make. I’ve decided to go into college and major in some pharmacuetical major, then go to a pharmacy school for 4 years.
So my question is, anyone have any opinions of colleges that are either low cost for out-of-state tuition or what schools i should be leaning towards…any type of help would be nice? I would really like to go somewhere either South or West of Wisconsin.

I know this it’s wicked far away from where you are now, but the University of Rhode Island has a 6 year program where you graduate with a Doctorate of Pharmacy after 6 years. And it’s pretty cheap, and they offer lots of scholarships :)

Go to Minnesota, you’ll still pay in-state tuition. Check out the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, its a great school. I also live in Wisconsin and would like to go to Minnesota for a cheap get away. Good Luck!

Talk to your guidance counselor. I do know that every state has a sister state where you can also pay in state tuition for. Maybe you’ll find some good schools in yours. But really though, your guidance counselor can help you best.
