I have been dreaming about going to UTK since about 8th grade. I was wanting to go to for UTK for something in business but lately I have been considering being a pharmacist. I know ETSU has a new pharmacy program. And I also know UTK has one. Another main reason why I wanted to go to UTK was to get the full college experience. Where stuff is going on all the time. It just doesn’t seem like there’s much going on at ETSU. I know I have a lot of friends going to ETSU and I don’t want to leave them. I will be able to get into either college but I just don’t know what to do. I want to better myself for my future. Will I get more recognition from ETSU or UTK? And can someone tell me what should I do on my decision and give me pros and cons of each school?

It isn’t even close. US News ranks UT-Knoxville as the 96th best National University in the country. Anything in the top 100 is considered very good.
East TN State, on the other hand, is ranked as a fourth tier national university. There are only four tiers — so that puts it close to the bottom.
If you can get into UT, go there instead.
