Questions On Becoming A Pharmacist?

Hi everyone! I’m a sophmore and I need to start thinking about what I would like to do when I get older. The career field of pharmacy seems interesting to me, but I have some questions about becoming a Pharmacist. I was wondering if you think by the following description of myself if I could be a Pharmacist:
I like working with other people. I enjoy science and math classes. I’m always careful and cautious. It’s hard for me to think things through, because I either over think or don’t think enough about whatever the topic is.
Now to my questions:
1) Is the pharmacy program difficult for someone like me? (based on description.)
2) Would it be better to become a Pharmacy Technician? Or should I go for a career in Pharmacy?
3) What are good pharmacy/pharmacy tech schools in New York?
4) *For anyone who is a pharmacist* What is the job like? Is it stressful?
Any other information that you know would be extremely helpful! Thanks to all who answer!
How Much Can A Pharmacy Technician Expect To Eventually Get Paid?

I’m 35 and have a BA in Psychology but never entered into that field. I live in Southern California. I’ve spent my working life in office jobs and just got laid off from a very stressful job in the mortgage industry. I’m looking to make a change and I qualify for a federal program where they will pay for training in a field that is “in demand.” The only one in the program that appealed to me was the Pharmacy Tech program. I expect to take a major pay cut at first but does anyone know how much I can make after a few years of experience and my certificate? I don’t plan on going to med school to be a Pharmacist just so that’s clear.
