Pharmacy school is EXTREMELY competitive, it ranks up at the same level if not higher than Medical school. You can&#039;t go from high school straight to pharmacy school, and since you are going to college for an undergrad degree before pharmacy school your high school grades are fairly unimportant, but your college grades ARE.
I&#039;d suggest majoring in medicinal chemistry or biology or chemistry or organic chemistry or something similar. If you double major in any of those majors, that would also be advantageous. SUNY Albany, SUNY Buffalo and others are all good starter outs for medical career transfers. Albany also has a Pharmacy school, but the name of it I can&#039;t remember.
Grades are just as important as class rank, school involvement, extracurriculars, intracurriculars etc. So stay active and focused!
