This Question From Pharmacy Technician Schools in New Jersey | 1 Answer
I’m a senior in high school and want to get into pharmacy school or do pre-pharmacy and then transfer to a pharmacy school but here’s my question:
1. Some schools offer pharmacy as a program but not a major, does that mean that I still have to take up a major? If so, what major should I take if I want to be a pharmacist?
2. Anyone know of any good pharmacy school or schools that have pre-pharm in New York, New Jersey, around that area?

If a school does not have pharmacy as a major, they do not have a program. If you want to be a pharmacist, you have to get a PharmD.
In New Jersey, only Rutgers offer pharmacy. In New York, there are several schools, go to http://www.pharmcas.org .
Most schools do not accept students until you have 2 years of college.
