This Question Is From: Pharmacy Technician Schools in California and has 2 Answers
Hi, I’m going to be a 3rd year at UC Berkeley in the fall and I am interested in attending UCSF, UCSD, USC, or Pacific for Pharmacy school. How competitive is each school comparatively? Which would be the hardest? Are there any pharm schools in California that might be easier to get into (for my backup)? Also, how good are the programs at each school? Any other pharm school recommendations (in or out of california).
Also, how important is GPA? I would really like to major in chemical biology but I heard that the upper divs are tough. I’m worried that my GPA won’t be good enough. (current gpa: 3.55) However, I feel that this major would give me more lab experience lab for any future lab careers. Would majoring in biology be better? (easier to get higher GPA.)
Any tips would be welcome!
Thank you,
-Diane

UCSF is the way to go!
It is relatively difficult to get into, but much less expensive because it is a public school and not a private one. It was rated #1 somewhere.
Hope I helped!
