   National certification is available through the PTCB.http://www.ptcb.org
   On the webpage go to the “Exam” tab. Open the drop down box and click on “About the Exam”

   After you graduate from high school, you will have to complete and pass your program for pharmacy technician before you can take the exam. As you near successful completion of the program, the school will provide info on the state board exams. The exams might even be held at the school. Check community colleges in your area for pharmacy technician programs. You need to do all your research this summer so that you can take SAT or other entrance exams and complete your application packets for fall submission.
   No state allows persons under 18 to obtain occupational licenses. And all occupational licenses require specialized post-secondary or post-graduate education.
