i was looking around for pharm tech programs and i found this program (http://www.calstatela.edu/exed/profdeve/pharmacytech.htm). would this program be acceptable/accredited?
so after taking a course/program and taking/passing the PTCB, what is the process after that? i am confused about the whole licensing process and CE hours and all that stuff? help me! thanks!

You don’t need to take any courses to take the PTCE. Buy some review books and self study. The exam is not that difficult. You just need a high school diploma or GED certificate. Just go to their website and it’ll have all the information.
Most states do not require CEs for pharm techs. However, to maintain your certification, you’ll have to take 20 hours of CEs every two years. You’ll have to take ACPE pharmacy tech courses. It should say whether the CE is for Techs, pharmacists, or both.
