  Most states do not require CEs for pharm techs.  However, to maintain your certification, you&#039;ll have to take 20 hours of CEs every two years.  You&#039;ll have to take ACPE pharmacy tech courses.  It should say whether the CE is for Techs, pharmacists, or both.</description>
