If you have been a previous Pharmacy Tech in another state, you just have to pass the exam. If you have never been one, I’m pretty sure you have to take the class – its just a single class you can take at your local Tech college.

Texas is the only state I know of which requires you to be a certified pharmacy tech. However, you are not required to go to school. Most of the information is not that hard to learn on your own.
