Pre-pharmacy Requirements?

This Question From Pharmacy Technician Schools in Georgia | 1 Answer

QUESTION:

I am about to begin my second year at a two-year community college. I was undecided on majors for a while and finally decided to begin taking pre-pharmacy classes. I plan to apply to pharmacy school at Mercer University and the University of Georgia.
My question is, will pharmacy schools not consider me because I’m completing pre-pharmacy requirements at a community college rather than a university or does it matter? I know I need to keep my GPA high and do exceptionally well on the PCAT, especially since I’m currently going the community college route.
Would you recommend transferring to a university now or finishing at this college I’m already attending? I don’t want to do something that would hurt my chances at acceptance and I really don’t know what to do.

Transfer after your 2 years at the community college.
