Should I Let My Pharmacy Tech Certification Expire?

Should I Let My Pharmacy Tech Certification Expire?

This Question Is From: Pharmacy Technician Certification and has 3 Answers

I have both pharmacy technician and EMT certifications now, but I currently work full time as an EMT at about 50 hours a week making $2,500 a month. Should I let my pharmacy tech certification expire since it is getting too expensive to keep up with the continuing education on both professions. I really don’t plan to ever use the pharmacy tech because of the low pay, but just in case I get injured on the job as a EMT, should I really keep both or let the other go???

I think you should keep both because you never know what the future brings. It is always good to have a back up. It’s not like it is hurting to keep them both.

No, then you won’t be able to get the cool drugs.
