If you have the means to do it, I highly recommend finding a good course or pharmacy tech school. There are plenty of good online ones available
Personally, unless you are very focused and can study well on your own, and will understand the material with out asking much in the way of help or questions, I would take the course. But only you know your strengths & limitations.
