This Question Is From: Pharmacy Technician Schools in Arizona and has 4 Answers
I am currently getting my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Arizona State University and am schedule to graduate in May 2010. My ultimate goal is to apply and attend pharmaceutical school. I have been strongly advised to become a pharmacy technician first to gain experience in the field. Would you recommend applying somewhere first or getting certified with the PCTB exam and then applying??

Apply for a job and get certified while you work. There are places that will hire you and pay for your training/certification. They don’t pay well at all though.
Try and find a job without being certified first. The market for pharm techs is very tough. You might find it easier to find a job if you are both certified and licensed.
Start working someone first. CVS and Riteaid will hire people who have no experience.
certified first.
