This Question Is From: Pharmacy Technician Schools in Rhode Island and has 3 Answers
I’d like to become a pharmacist but I can’t find many colleges/universities around here that offer it. I’m considering schools in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and DC.
Any ideas?

There is very little difference from one pharm school to another. They all teach essentially the same courses, because all the students have to take the same licensing exams when they are finished. So, any pharm school you can get into is a good one!
For RELIABLE information about pharmacy, check the website of the AACP – that is the official organization that coordinates information about accredited pharm schools in the USA. They have links to every school.
Good luck.
I’m in the Pharm D. program at Wilkes University in northeast PA, but i did look into Albany and MCPHS. The reason I chose Wilkes was because they have a 6yr doctorate program and once I was accepted I had 10 days to sign a contract or I would loose my seat, it wasn’t worth the risk to wait on acceptance letters from the other schools. I hope that helped, but I will tell you look for schools with a 0-6 Pharm D. program they are your best bet.
Harvard? Penn? I dunno but those are generally good schools in the Northeast.
