depending on where you live and what company you work for.but I guess depending on experirence you should make about 8.50-9.50hr.But i think that I would try to get in a hospital setting where I could make a little bit more.

i used to work as an admissions rep for a “college” that trained Pharmacy Techs and in a retail environment, they can generally average around 8-12/hour depending on where you go. I think national drug stores like CVS, Peoples or places like that paid better than Wal-mart or Target. Walgreens was another good place too for retail settings. My advice would be go into a hospital. forget retail since, it’s retail. there’s really no upward mobility there since your just another hourly employee. hospitals give you more professional experience and better pay. in addition to that, you’ll probably have the opportunity to go back to college and become a certified pharmacist with their help. Most hospitals will help pay for their employees to retrain or reeducate themselves for better positions. Retail places won’t and don’t really care if you do or not.
