He just got accepted into pharmacy school…he’s going to be 28 yrs. old in a few weeks as well, and I want to make him a special “pharmacy-theme” birthday cake. Can’t find any examples online…any ideas?

make the cake look like a big pill bottle =rectangle shape, color the frosting orange and make a white frosting label and write happy birthday and his name on the label in black and frost the top edge white to look like a cap. this would be a flat cake,
to make a 3D pill bottle= stack and fill 8″ round cakes (use 3 rounds cut in half and filled to make 6 layers) then frost in orange frosting make a white cap on top and use white frosting for a label to write his name on.http://cakestampa.pho.to/albums/portfoli…
this was done with fondant but can be done with buttercream if you have never used fondant.

you could draw different colored and different shaped pills in frosting all the way around the cake ( a viagra pill might not be appreciated though). And then write in the middle, Congratulations and Happy Birthday Too. Or his name or whatever you want.
