I am a upcoming high school graduate and I am having a really hard time deciding which college to go to. I have decided that I want to be a pharmacist but I need to know if I should go to UGA or Mercer? Please help me!

I’m a pharmacist and a pharmacy instructor. I get a lot of questions that I’ve begun writing about at my website which you’ll find at the bottom. So you can always check back there but the short answer to your question is this:
Most students get it wrong when it comes to choosing a pharmacy school.
By that I mean they focus to much on pharmacy school rankings. Almost every ‘rankings’ score I’ve seen is biased to one extent or another. You should base your decision on what is best for you and what will give you the best return on your investment.
So, just because something is the most expensive doesn’t mean it’s the best. Ask around to other pharmacists but also keep in mind that they will likely have a bit of a tainted view because of personal bias.
The main point is as long as a pharmacy school is accredited then you are good to go. From there you base it on more personal factors. You can find a much longer discussion on my pharmacy school rankings page below.

I’m not sure about the rankings. What I can say is that stating you graduated from the University of Georgia carries a lot more weight than Mercer University.
There’s many people out there who love UGA and I believe this will get you farther in life than a relatively small school without a big following.
