Boston University- costs $24800
Smith College- $30316
New York University- $41941 ($12500 scholarship)
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy- $19950 ($12000 scholarship)
UCLA- $45314 ($2000 scholarship)
University of Maryland- College Park- $21501
I plan to go to graduate school, so money matters.
Please tell me where YOU believe the best school for me is and why.
Each school has it’s ups and downs.
Although BU is amazing, my parents do not think it is not academically presiprestigiousgh.
Smith is a great school, but it is all-women.
NYU is a good choice, but the campus isn’t very closed and it is expensive even with the scholarship.
Although MCPHS consists of one building and we have to wear ID badges, I could get a Doctor of Pharmacy degree within 6 years.
UCLA may be a good choice, because we plan to move to CA in two years makngmaking20000 cheaper, but I would have paid 100000 by then. Plus, their grad schools are great.
UMCP is fine… but I grew up not wanting to go there. I want to get out of MD.
Thank you for your help

BU is not that prestigious to be honest but it is respected and the price tag looks good! I would go BU.

UCLA is a great school for medical field and the cost doesn’t seem that high. You also seem to like the school so it will be good.

BU is a pretty prestigious school, actually. And Boston is SUCH a great college city.
Smith is one of the most prestigious schools on your list. But if you think you might have a problem going to an all-womens college, you probably shouldn’t risk it. Yes, there are co-ed schools in the consortium with Smith (Amherst, UMass Amherst, Hampshire), but if you really like being with guys all the time, you might feel a little constrained in your social life.
NYU and UCLA are obviously very, very good schools–probably on the same level.in terms of prestige. UCLA does have a good grad program, but just because you go to undergrad doesn’t mean you’ll have that much of a better chance getting into their grad school.
NYU doesn’t have the feel of a real campus, but UCLA is so big that it doesn’t really have that either. But you’re in NYC if you go to NYU, and you’ll meet so many people that, in terms of making friends, you wouldn’t have a hard time.
Can you visit the schools? Getting a real feel for the school is important. Just go with your heart. They are all prestigious schools where you will get a great education.
